Yesterday was an OK day fishing on the shallows in Lake Erie's Western Basin near Crane Creek. We fished 11-13 feet of water using blue, white(white crinkle) and purple jigs tipped with minnows on the stinger hooks. The fish were sluggish and light biting. Patience persisted and Jim Ray's group never gave up and took home their limit.
Water temp was only at 41 degrees so we are ecited with the warmer weather coming this week to warm up the bite!!!
