April 20, 21, 22, 23 Cancellations

I just had a 4-day cancellation due to a health issue. For those of you who have not been able to grab a fishing date this Spring, I have the 20th (Wednesday) thru the 23rd (Saturday) available.

With the horrible fishing conditions over the past 3 days (and they continue to worsen), I am not going to book these days.

We spent the past 2 days on Tionesta (due to very high river levels) trolling and jigging lethargic muskies with no success. Finding bait pods/musky hooks was almost impossible and all fish seem to be glued to bottom doing nothing. Water temps are 43 at Nebraska bridge and 47.5 near the outflow.

The main launch is closed and flooded so we launched in the Nebraska bridge parking lot (that launch is under 16 feet of water currently) while utilizing the launch road as our makeshift launch. The bridge is about 100 yards from the water's edge and you can only see the top half of the bridge sticking up, btw.

We were able to see the original water line from last month's big thaw, which was another 20 feet up on the shoreline. Those of you who are familiar with Tionesta would not believe how high the water is currently (and was last month). If you are looking at the concrete staircase by the main launch, last month's water line is 1/4 the way up those steps. Amazing.

I hope things get back to normal soon.
