pout thru the ice

The show on catching pout through the ice was very interesting to me. Many years ago I caught one on a charter outing in northern Minnesota. The guide tossed it back in before I had a chance to get a good look at it. After seeing how you prepared them to eat, I wish I had been able to keep it now.

They are a fascinating fish, no doubt... Really cool color to them... John dipping the fillets in garlic butter looks delicious... John definitely gets spoiled at the dinner table, no question... I gotta ask him to hook me up with some leftovers!!! :D
