The Bays de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club has several events coming up in the next couple weeks.
Saturday, April 30th - 3rd Annual Sportsman's Flea Market. Location will be in the U.P. State Fair grounds in conjunction with the RRN Sport and Rec show. 9am to 5pm. $20 per table, $5 for large items outside, (boats, ATV's, campers, ect.) Contact Bill Myers @ (906) 428-9039 or myself @(906) 786-1488 with any questions. If you're interested in selling items, let us know ASAP. Space is limited to 30 spots, and those that sign up early will also get free access to the sports show.
Sunday, May 1st - Spring General Membership Meeting. This years spring meeting will be held at the Mead Rod and Gun Club, near the West Gladstone Bridge. Come get up to speed on club projects and local fishing issues.
Saturday, May 7th - Spring Perch Derby. $30 per boat. Fish by yourself, with a couple buddies, or with the whole family, (all participants must be members of the BDNGLSF.) Each boat will be able weigh their 10 largest perch. Prizes for the 3 heaviest weights. Entry forms will be available at the local bait shops soon.
