Talked to a friend of mine today and they fished off of the yellow gate yesterday in about 20 fow and ended up with 60 perch. All decent fish. all caught on perch rigs tipped with wigglers.

We've had a lot of good reports the last few days from people fishing the upper bay, near the Days River.
I fished South of Saunder's Point Friday afternoon. There are LOTS of fish out there in 30 to 40 feet, but they're still not biting real good, (better than last week, though.) I started off the water treatment plant. Caught lots of fish, but they were all small males. Moved out in front of the campgrounds. Caught good keepers there, but I was only catching one every 10 to 15 minutes. Moved again, just south of the tip of Saunder's Point. Started whacking fish there, but they were all rockbass, (since they taste every bit as good as crappies, I didn't mind.) Ended up keeping 2 dozen perch and crappies - enough for a couple good meals for Diane and I.
