T.F.F. Update

Sunday greeted us with yet another beautiful day and a continued good walleye bite. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with medium/large fatheads, we worked only the shallow areas that had last years old weeds remaining and it paid off with some hefty eyes once again, along with a good number of smallies and some bonus jumbo perch. For the most part, the fish seemed to pick up the jig/minnow combo on the outside of the old weed edges after being drug thru the weeds at a very slow retrieve.

Back out again today weather permitting, will keep you posted.

You never fail to amaze me Don. We were humbled on opening day with just a few small males & two small northerns. I am looking forward to Memorial Day weekend, I think I better start taking notes when we go out....God knows I am no threat to the fish the way I am.
