The past two days have seen some very good walleye action along with decent action from the panfish, smallies and pike.
Both days saw very active eyes as we worked a shallow rocky ledge that topped off at 4 feet that dropped down to 8 feet and soft bottom. For the most part, the eyes were hanging about half way down the sharp drop. We also had great action on stump filled humps that topped off at 8 feet, Reeves weedlees jigs tipped with medium large fatheads did the trick on these very nice flowage eyes. Bluegill action on Wednesday was limited to just a few cribs as we found 11 nice ones with small jigs tipped with a peice of crawler. The gills were not to be found in the cribs on Thursday, but we did find some decent perch along with several smallies, pike, and one keeper crappie as we worked shallow (4 ft.) water in and around many stickups.
Headed back out again today, will keep you posted.
