I'm happy to inform everyone that jig fishing is over and we have made the transition to worms & flipping harnesses and or trolling with Michigan Stingers. Today we fished the open water flats and did good catching 20 to 28 1/8" nice healthy Walleye's trolling Michigan Stingers in 28 to 30 ft. of water. Our best lures were Helmut, Purple Demon, and Bumble Bee. We were running 60ft and 70ft at 2.1 to 2.3 k. Our customer's commented on how the bite came at mid morning about 10:00 AM and the rods lit up until the end of the trip. Thanks again to the group from West Virginia you did a great job setting up catching fish. We did have a spike at about 8 to 10 inches which tells us we have some good schools growing in the Western Basin of Lake Erie. Capt. Ron
