Mondays fishing action once again remained very good despite the mid morning wind switch from the SW to the NW. Using 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either fatheads or 1/2 crawler, we found active walleye and smallies right from the beginning. Working only shallow wood/weedy shorelines, we spent the morning catching and releasing smallies and walleye, after our limits of nice hefty eyes and one good sized pike were in the well, we then worked some cribs in search of perch and gills and only came up with 5 keepers.
Back out today, will keep you posted.
