Thanks to James Lieske and crew for booking with Sunchaser Charters. The guys arrived Sunday PM to start out with a afternoon twilight trip. We left the dock and headed to the morning bites numbers. We quickly set up with some instruction and off we were trolling. Conditions at the time were perfect with about 1 ft chop. We started out quartering the waves and then made a turn to go straight down wind and bamm we had one one. They took their time and in the net it was, a nice 22 in walleye. We continued and picked 3 more nice walleye. Purple was the hot color at 70 ft. We continued on and made the turn again into the wind which had now picked up to 2 to 3ft waves. The boards were submarine effect and kept the speed irregular, I zigg zagged to reduce the drag it worked and we picked up a nice 24 in walleye. We pulled in our equipment and headed in.
