How high is the water?

Based on the level of the Chippewa River in Eau Claire, I would assume the Musky Opener on the Flowage will feature high water. Does this affect your tactics any more than water temperature or weed growth?

The high water doesn't effect how I fish. The water temp and weed growth does however. There isn't much for weed growth this year but surprisingly the water temp is pretty high. Yesterday we had from 59 to 61 degree water temps. That's pretty high considering the cold spring. The good thing is, with the high water temps topwater and bucktails will be good right off the bat. Makes for better hookups and covering water faster.
