Wednesday greeted my two friends and myself with ENE winds, cool temps, and a hot bite to start off the morning. Anchoring in 8 feet of water, we worked a 4 foot deep rocky ledge and boated 4 nice eyes on both fatheads and 1/2 crawlers. Should have easily had our limits on this one spot but we had a few that got off our hooks. We then started working wind blown shorelines in 3 to 4 feet of water and came up with our final 2 eyes. We spent the rest of the day working the bogs and downed timber and came up with a dozen or so jumbo perch, countless numbers of smallies and several small pike.
