[Jerry Tipping]

A little cool this morning for the end of May! I checked the thermometer at 5 am and it registered 31 degrees, then I checked the computer to verify that it is May. Hit "The Rock" around Buckhorn this morning and it was a typical cold front bite, like pulling teeth. I was thinking: maybe I should have gone into dental work instead of guiding. Finished the morning with, 5 "shorties", 3 keepers, 2 nice pike, and one big sheephead. Water temps are still hovering around the 60 degree range. We really need some sunny 70 degree days and nice 60 degree nights along with some consistent weather. I guess we will just have to wait it out.
