Back out for a half day trip with an old friend on Sunday morning and the walleye and panfish action was very good. We started out working the wind blown shorelines with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads and came up with one real nice eye, we then found another on a midlake hump. After a break in the action we headed to the cribs and found our 20 jumbo perch and bluegills, all on jig and 1/2 crawler. We then tried another 2 midlake humps and came up with our last 2 keeper eyes. Just a note, the bluegills are still deep and have not spawned, still finding eggs and milk in the crappies taken from the cribs while not finding the same with the ones taken out of the shallows.
No fishing for awhile, shoulder needs some rest. Happy Memorial Day to all, God bless the USA.
