Got on the Chain with my very good friend Dan K. for two morning muskie hunts. Saturday was overcast, cool with a little breeze. Dan ended up catching a short fish and we had 3 other follows on jerkbaits and swimbaits. One fish however was in the 45-47" class but she flipped us "the fin" and headed back into the weeds. Sunday, warmer but the fog did not burn off until around 10 am. Dan boated a 31.50 on a Mepps Marabou and I had a fish wake and take a shot at a LowRider. That was it and all before 6 am. Weeds in great shape with water temps around 62. Fished Channel, Marie and Petite.
