Inland Panfish

Just wondering if anyone has been fishing inland lakes for gills? I saw one recent report saying the gills didn't bite when he was out. It seems like they should be on their beds or maybe coming off them already? Any input would be appreciated.

Depends where your going north or west , i caught sum last weekend and they were still full of eggs i would say by this coming weekend it should be good everywhere.
