Hi everyone,
Guided a half day today. Fished for Walleyes with a lot of hits, but boated just two. They are still biting really light. We fished the afternoon and had all our action fishing the deep bogs. Using jigs baited with leeches, we anchored upwind of the sunken bogs and worked them over. The Walleyes just grab and stop the jig. They are in no hurry. We dud managed to catch two nice ones. The biggest was a fat 24"er that I released. The weather was mostly sunny with a stiff north east wind. Air temp was in the 50's and the water temp was 66 degrees. Tommorow I will be guiging Bill in the morning. ill start in the weeds and if nothing there, We'll head to the deep. Good luck fishing everyone.
