It's nice to have the summer heat back, and apparently the muskies agree! The bite has steadily picked back up following the nasty cold front that slowed things a bit in our area towards the end of last week. Right now we're finding good number of active muskies up shallow, using both the weeds and wood cover. Here's what was working over the weekend, and should continue to produce fish all week long:
Crankbaits: Musky Innovations Shallow Invader
Topwaters: Tyrant Tackle Crusader and Dictator
Bucktails/Spinnerbaits: Mepps Musky Marabou, Llungen Lures DC-8, Esox Edge Thumper Junior
Rubber/Plastic: Musky Innovations Bulldawg, J-Mac musky jig rigged with Berkley Flatback Shad
