Heading to Beaver PA for a fathers day weekend of walleye fishing with the family. My brother lives on the Beaver River and catches the occasional walleye. Any words of advice for fishing the Ohio River in the area of the confluence between the Beaver and the Ohio?? Thanks in advance
P.S. Will trade info for advice on Congo or Middle Allegheny. :-)

I always like nightfishing from shore. usually with rapalas or jig/curlytail, jig/minnow from shore. I think right now you wuld be looking for a shallow flat while creek mouths may still be producing some fish. Haven't fished the Ohio so I don't know any spots.

Fish the Beaver river below the dam in New Brighton you should pick up a few eyes there along with many other game fish. Another hot spot would be where Brady's Run Creek runs into the Beaver right behind the Pontiac dealer in Bridgewater. Two good spots on the Ohio is # 1 Leetsdale dam and in the oppisite direction from the Beaver is Montgomery dam.
