Report 6-29-11

Fished the evening hours after work and caught two walleyes one right after another and that was it. They both hit right a 8 o'clock and then there was no action after that. They were both caught using a slip bobber and jig and leech combo. Was fishing deeper bogs in 18 fow. They were around the same size 14 and 13 3/4 and both were released.

Thanks for the report Josh. Keep at it. I think the Walleyes have a lot to eat right now and that makes for a tough bite. With the bug hatches going on now, the deeper bog flats in the soft bottom basin will be where the majority of the Walleyes will be hunting. Good luck and keep us posted.
