Good morning trolling on"Pete". Brian and his son Devin from the Rockford, IL area joined me this morning. We were set-up by 6:30 and by 10:30 we boated 22 "shorties", 4 keepers, 5 white bass, 3 cat, 1 perch, and 1 smallmouth.

Jerry, Thanks for a great morning fishing. Devin had a ball and that's what fishing is all about! With the clear skies and hot sun, I was sure we would have a very slow day of fishing, but I was mistaken. After boating 36 fish in 4 hours, I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Thanks again, I would recommend you to anyone thinking of hiring a guide on Castle Rock Lake, Petenwell, or the river.
