Friday July 1st turned out to be another great day of muskie fishing for the Treblemaker Crew. We headed back to the south shore and fish started snapping near the "Red Barn" in 15-16 FOW. Crankbaits were the ticket early on but bucktails took the bigger fish. Spanky Baits double blades were what they wanted. Variety of colors, but 60ft 2oz was the set up. Good luck and good fishing!
Congrats to Don Melnyk from Chicago with a new Personal Best Lake St. Clair muskie with a 50 1/2, 34lb beast that gave him a great fight. Don enjoyed the most releasing and watching fish swim away and be released for another angler to enjoy! Good job Don... aka "Muskie Whisper"
