Nothing too exciting, but have been out side scanning Mendota the last few days (found two boats this morning in 40 to 45 FOW) and have been seeing a couple northerns, three walleyes, a bunch of suckers, carp and sheephead, all suspended in 35 to 45 FOW (avg about 5' off the bottom). Off the top of my head I can't recall seeing sheephead suspended like this before. Thermoclines around 30', which is typical for this time of the year. There's still sufficent oxygen below the thermocline, as I've also seen fish in the 50 to 60' range sitting on the bottom.
