Now that we have finally got a good stretch of warm weather the Muskie fishing is really starting to pick up. Topwater, bucktails, spinner baits, glide baits, and rubber baits are all working right now. Be sure to try a variety of different baits to see what the preference is for the day or the hour or the minute. On an evening trip Wednesday we boated three fish and lost one on 4 different styles of lures all fish were in the mid 30's but changing lures often seemed to be a key in triggering the strikes. We've been finding the majority of the fish around mid lake structure holding in 4-8' of water. Next weeks full moon should provided a good opportunity for a big fish so be sure to pay attention to the major and minor fishing windows. Good Luck!
