Thanks to Wayne and daughters Michelle, Jessica and Morgan for booking the Fishing Charter with us. Mike and I have known Wayne for 26 years and he has booked this annual trip with his daughters to have a special day on the lake fishing. All the ladies are very competitive in nature and are alumni of Michigan State and Ohio State " now there's a rivalry". We left at 6:00 Am and headed to our GPS numbers from the previous day in 24 ft of water. There was enough wind to set up and drift fish using worm harnesses tipped with worms. Morgan caught the first walleye then Wayne casting and playing the swing. Michelle caught a nice 22 in. Walleye. The wind died so we switched over to start trolling and moved to shallower water of 17 ft. We quickly set up and everyone did great getting all the equipment out and running. Jessica pulled in the first walleye at 50 ft back on a Rapala fire tiger. Everyone took turns as we got fish-on. Trolling is a team effort and everyone did their part. We did catch some nice small-mouth bass which are a bunch of fun jumping out of the water as they reeled them in. I have to say there was a three way tie at 22.0 in between Ladies so next year have have to decide big walleye of the day. See pictures below. Thanks Capt's Mike & Ron 139951399613997
