More entertaining than fishing this weekend, as my mom was in town from Florida. We (my wife and I, with mom hanging out in the boat) fished for about two hours Saturday evening and moved nothing. Nice night, but it certainly fit the pattern for us (fish either hit, or we don't even see them). It was Africa-hot yesterday, so we limited the daytime fishing to about two hours and used the rest of our energy on swimming. Went out from 7:00-9:30 last night and got the fish below on our first spot. Otherwise, nothing else going last night. This little guy hit a double-bladed bucktail burned pretty good over a small weed point. Weird little spot, but I hit it pretty consistently because it looks good to me. I will be back up in a couple of weekends and will post, whether good, bad or shutout. By the way, the water is now over 80 (we saw as high as 83 yesterday), so she is beginning to boil out there.
