I got to tag along with Doofighter over to Manistique Thursday night. First time I've ever fished out of there. We had a fair trip, going 4 for 7. We fished several miles south of the can, in about 100 FOW. Had one rip on a 2 color out on a planer board around 8:30. All the rest of the action was between 9:30 and 10:30. No hot bait, in fact all 7 hits were on 7 different baits. Mostly all on Moonshine spoons, (Flounder Pounder, Crabface, Hot Lips, and Bad Toad all took hits,) and only one on a flasher/fly combo (green/glow Spin Doctor with a green/glow fly.) From the radio chatter, and what we saw at the cleaning station, most everyone had at least 3 or 4 fish per boat.
