Sorlie Outing

I had the pleasure of fishing with Mike Sorlie and his son Josh this morning. We started early before the heat wave hit full intensity and had a great morning catching lots of fish. Before we started fishing, I was telling Mike the neat thing about fishing the Wisconsin River is the variety of fish you will catch on a trip. I told him to expect to catch 5-7 different types of fish and by the end of the morning, we had caught crappies, northerns, catfish, smallmouth bass, and walleyes. The fish were all caught fishing structure with jigs and minnows and by the end of the morning, Mike and Josh had released a ton of fish and kept a couple for a meal at home. It was a great morning on the river as always. Take a kid fishing
