Split trip today! I launched the boat at Petenwell park at 6 am along with Ed and his son Billy from Jackson, WI. Set out the planer boards and started getting fish right away. Storms started moving in about 7:45, and when we seen the first bolt of lightning we headed for the ramp. We did have
4 keepers, 6 "shorties, 1 perch, 1 white bass, and 1 northern.
After the storms passed we met again at 11:30 to finish out the day. By 2 pm we caught 5 more keepers, 13 "shorties", and five white bass.

Yes ,it was to bad about the storms, but we did get the time in on the water , and Billy had a great time. I am sure they will enjoy a couple of fish fry's with their catch.
