Fishing old style means trolling with worm harnesses off 40 jet divers. We've have had a time catching walleyes trolling spoons and even casting worms haven't been a every day bonanza either, so we went back to running worm harnesses about 8 foot in florocarbon 20 lb test. We are using No 5 crinkle blades deep cupped and orange and red beads 2 hook rig. We are placeing worms on flat and running them back 60-70 feet of 40 jet divers. We have been catching big walleyes not limits every trip but good quality eyes fishing nw of west sister island.
