[Jerry Tipping]

I met Randy from St Charles, Il, and his father-in law Ron from Columbus Junction, Iowa at the Petenwell County Park ramp at 6 am. We headed to the north end and trolled planer boards along the river channel. It was 82 when we launched and 0 wind. It was hot, and so was the bite. We picked up at 10:45 with a total of 68 fish caught. 7 keepers, 21 "shorties", 30 cat, 3 crappies, 6 white bass, and 1 sheep head.
The algea is really getting thick on these hot days with no wind. Water temp was 88.9 when we left.

Keep a tight line!!!
