53" From the Chip

Several of the resorts have posted that a 53" musky was caught recently on the Chip.

was it a tiger, and was it measured with a rope? :P

I saw it on the board at Tiger Musky this morning. Joe Jasik was guiding the guy, I think his name was Dave. I was shown a picture on an Iphone. Looked pretty big. I got a 47" (personal best) on Friday. This one looked considerably bigger to me.

I know Joe very well and have for years. A great guy and honest as the day is long; can hardly wait to see him and find out where they got her. Joe doesn't guide much anymore and just takes old time clients out; he knows the lake like the back of his hand. Congrats; it could not happen to a better person.

Agreed, If Joe says he boated a 53 and there were no pictures I would believe it hands down. Joe is one of the true flowage greats left out there. Many congrats Joe . . . super fish.
