This past week ends fishing action was Hot much like the recent weather! The fishing has been really good for numbers and sizes of game fish their numbers per four hours have been in the high teens depending on conditions and time of day. The Pike have been best caught on slip bobbers or Lindy Rigged suckers catching pike between 30” to 34” The bass fishing too has been really good with many over eighteen inches running the deep weed lines 13- 18 feet. Some of the bass were caught the past days on Berkley Power Baits 8” Worms in purple Texas rigged, or a drop shot finesse worm and some of the Bass, Walleye and Pike even were caught on night crawlers and leeches because our target was multi-species... As a slow hopping retrieveworked best for the bass and was the key to catching along with keeping the lines tight with all winds of late.
