I met Bob from Wauwatosa, Wi at the ramp at the County Park on "Pete" at 6 am. Nice morning, no humidity to speak of. Went over by Longview Point and jigged a little without much success. Started heading south from there and tried about 4 more jig spots with only 1 crappie, and 1 whitebass to show for it. Put the planer boards in the water about 9 o'clock and finished at 10:45 with 6 "shorties' 2 keepers, 7 white bass, 2 perch, 1 crappie, 1 cat, and 1 northern. The jig bite is really tough right now, hopefully it turns around with some milder temperatures.
