Hey Anglers!

The nighttime temps are cooling the waters down a little even with temps still in the 80's during the day. The on and off rain and clouds that we have been getting is making the action a little hard to figure out.

Walleye have been hitting on big leeches lately, but it seems like minnows are starting to produce some legal fish. Once again in the early morning or later evening with a jig or a plain hook and sinker right off of the bottom. Rattlin Raps have also been working well along the weed edges.

Bass are biting very well. Have seen several nice smallies come in the shop caught on River 2 Sea lures. The crayfish or frog have both been working well. Be sure to use a small leader with these due to the northern going after them too!

Bluegills have moved a little deeper now. You'll want to fish these deeper weeds and weed edges with a smaller leech or leaf worm on a bobber set up.

Northern Pike are still atacking alot of baits. Suckers are working well for live bait, otherwise throw some Mepps spinners or smaller bucktails. A larger rubber frog bait will work well also!

Musky doing well in the early morning or later evening. Whopper Ploppers are still a hot bait, along with shallow glide baits now! There was a 46 1/2" musky caught on Lake Nokomis yesterday on a shallow musky bait.

Well, thanks for reading my report and good luck fishing!
