Guys,
Any reports out of Fairport or Cedar River lately? I was hoping that things would pick up in August - any updates appreciated.

Well the downriggers are off if that tells ya anything... Two of my buddies out the whole weekend one on Whaleback and other off C.R. in 100+... One had a rainbow and the other two salmon not worth writing home about... Not worth the gas in my opinion.. spent almost 17hrs. in two days and nothin to show for it.. :(

A couple people I know fished Fairport over the weekend. 4 Sunday evening, and 9 on Monday up to 25 pounds. Haven't heard how they did in the evening on Monday.
One of the charter captains told Diane he went 17 for 28 out of Manistique over the weekend.

You must go east. There are no salmon in green bay this year. How many skunk stories do you need to convince you of that?
