Well I just thought about my Vex battery and that it has been a few month's since it got a charge. I hit the level light and it didn't light up.. I never disconnected it and now I am afraid it is toast.. So don't do what I did. Go grab ur ice rig and put it on the charge for awhile to make sure when we got hard water you are ready to go....tight lines

What kind of Vex do you have? I'm thinking of getting one this year. I have a Marcum now.

My rusty trusty FL-8... Not the latest or greatest but it shows me what I need... I also have a Lowrance digital flasher for ice.. Never use it though.. Was thinkin of getting a ice ducer for the HDS but I would hate for something to happen to it... I guess just plenty happy with the Vex and no need to upgrade.
