Hi everyone,

Got out early Sunday morning. Only had 3 hours to fish. had to get home to help my wife get the page set up to advertise my book. Caught a bunch of Bluegills and two nice Walleyes. I released every thing. The biggest Walleye was 20" and the other was 15". The morning was completely windless with cold temps untill the sun cleared the trees. I had 43 degrees on my truck thermometer. It was a beautifull morning with the fog rising and as the sun came up it was kind of erie. Temps rose quick and the fish were fairly active. I missed more fish than i caught.

Caught everything on jigs and leeches again and I tried both deep and shallow, but the deep wood is what produced everything. I tried a shallow weed area and a middepth weed flat. Not even a Bluegill there. The forage is still deep. I have a feeling that will change soon. The algae bloom is in full swing now. that will reduce the sunlight in the shallower areas making it more attractive to forage and Walleyes alike.

My book is ready to go now. My wife had a lot of problems getting the page up, but our web host has the solution to our problem and we will have the information you need to order my book up soon. There is an order form up now that you can download with info on the ordering. Tonight we will have the proper page up and running. Good luck fishing everyone.
