Another tough day on "The Rock". Flat calm, full sun, and the water is the dirtiest I have seen in some time. I had Joe and his dad Jim from Streamwood Il. out for a morning trip. Jigged four usually good spots and only produced 1 walleye, 1 crappie, 1 perch, 1 northern, and 1 sheep head. Pulled hard baits for a while with-out a hit, pulled flies for an hour with only a couple taps. Thats the typical August bite, good one day, bad the next. That's why they call it fishing, and not catching I guess!
