The rain has mixed things up a little bit, but there is walleye action on Nokomis! Guys are fishing the bogs with a jig and a white twister tail. Swimming them about a foot off of the bottom. This technique has been producing legal fish. Crappie and bluegill around the trestles. Fish bluegill about a foot to two feet off the bottom with a plain hook and sinker with a leech or crawler. Crappie are a little more suspended. Set up a slip bobber rig with a crappie minnow or fathead. Set your bobber about three to four feet off the bottom. Bass are still hitting topwater baits. Try poppers, frogs, and shallow running crankbaits. Mann's baby -1's only dive about three inches deep and work well!
Thanks Guys,
