Fishing Report

Got back yesterday from 4 days on the chip. Friday and Saturday were spent fishing for walleyes on deep water humps with wood or in the main river channel (20+'). We found eyes every day, but the going was tough. We kept two in the 15" range and let the rest go. Also got some good perch, some largemouth bass and a few crappies. On sunday and monday, we switched to deep weeds and got lots of gills, some bass and a few crappies. We kept every largemouth we caught, regardless of size.

We stayed at Tiger Musky Resort. A first class operation with a very attentive and friendly staff. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Glad to hear you had good success. That deep wood pattern has been working all summer for all species. Tiger Musky is where I grew up on the flowage. Nice place,and lots of fond memories. Thanks for your report.
