Going saturday to watch flw finals

After day 1, 8 lbs is leading , thats sad! 20 boats! taking my 10 year old to watch takeoff and then catch 5 keepers. will post report on water conditions!

fishing was really tough, caught seven fish all short, my boy had 3 smallies blow up on his bait all about 2 lbs on same cast, I didn't really fish very hard, did mark fish in two spots in deeper water where i did catch 1 fish 15 1/2 long. spent most of the day following tourney boats around and team we supported. congrats nu bass. water temp was around 69 and didn't see a muskie break water at all! boat traffic was very lite for such a nice day

Does any one know the final weights to win the tournament? Sounds like the fishing was horrible. Heard only five boats caught fish on the first day out of twenty boats. That lake is LOADED with nice bass too so they must of really turned off.

Here is a picture of one of the nice bass you are talking about. My wife caught this one recently while musky fishing. I wouldn't want to fish against her in a tournament. She would out fish me everytime!
