Spent the day with Eric and his son Ethan from Plainfield,IL on "The Rock". Jig bite was slow at best. Tried at the Buckhorn Bridge, the Little Yellow, and the South Tower with only a few bites. Wind really picked up which made boat control tough, so we put the planer boards in the water. White Bass were active right away. About noon we finally found a few walleyes. All in all, with the wind blowing at 15-20 we did alright. We finished with 3 "keepers"(Ethan's first walleyes ever)22 white bass, and 1 small mouth.
