Feel all warm and fuzzy now do ya Kieth?

Can you actually abide by the rule you lobbied so hard to get reinstated?

Yes its great. Gary you can rest at night because when we had the slot before I tossed more big fish back than just a few.

Hey Keith ,thanks for the update on getting back the slot limit on the Bay. I guess it shows how a concerted organized effort can actually pay off.

Just a quick question. Is the slot limit reinstated immediately, as of the October 13th when it was signed? I'm just looking for a clarification. Thanks guys.

From what I was told it will go into effect for the 2012 Walleye opener starting May15,2012.

Thank you for the clarification. It is nice to see the slot come back, from other waters I have fished that do have slot sizes in place, I would think it that it would only help the fishery. I'm no biologist, just saying that others waters that have slot sizes have some really tremendous fishing.

Nice work to Captain Keith and everyone else for getting the slot in place. I sincerely believe this will help restore LBDN to its previous distinction as being one of the best walleye fisheries in the Midwest.

Keep up the great work Captain Keith!!!!

The slot limit will be one over 23 inches.
This morning Tom G and I caught 7 Walleye between 16 and 21 inches on Walleye's Choice spinners (I-42 and I-77)and bottom bouncers in 26 to 29 feet of water. We fished for about 4 hours. The temp. was 53 degrees on my unit. I have had enough wind for a while.
