I’ve been targeting walleyes on The Madison Chain and Delavan Lake lately with the cooling water temps pre lake turn over. The walleyes I have been catching during the day are caught in 16-17 ft of water. The presentation I have been using to find them is either trolling to locate schools with deep diving crank baits or bottom bouncers pulling Tommy Harris spinners the bait has been either night crawlers or artificial leeches. I’ve also been slowing my presentation down when a school is found and jigging with an aggressive jigging motion using 1/4 oz. Jigs with small or artificial leeches. The largemouth and northern pike have been biteing pretty good they were caught on medium suckers fished in 6 ft of water under a slip bobber or by working all terrain plastics 5" stixs Green pumpkin seed has been the best color.
