[Jerry Tipping]

I met Matt from Rockford, IL. at the Chester Creek ramp for the first of two days on "Pete". A bit breezy to say the least. Sustained winds of 20+ with gusts to 35 made boat control a little tough. Back trolled with flies most of the morning and boated 3 white bass, and 1 crappie. Had a lot more hits, but could not get the hook into them. Really light biters with the cold front going by. Trolled for a little while and had 1, slot walleye, and had a nice upper 30's musky on for a while, until he took my Shad Rap. The winds are supposed to die down tonight, so hopefully we can get on the lake tomorrow. Will post results at the end of the day. Weather man says temps in the upper 20's for morning.
