Matt from Rockford phoned Thursday evening and wanted to troll the river above "Pete" on Friday morning. We met at Chester Creek at 7am, and it was a bit chilly ay 22 degrees. Duck hunters were getting a lot of shooting in, but the fish were not as active. We only managed 1 "keeper", 1 "shortie", and 1 musky. We also lost three nice fish that came unbuttoned, and got bit off by another toothy critter.
