Fished all day Saturday, Moved four fish and boated a fat 40"er around 9:30 am. Would have enclosed a picture, but I haven't figured that out yet. Alot of orange out in the woods. By the sound of it, there will be a lot of venison in people's freezers this fall. A few duck hunters in the water as well. One setup even fooled me. Sorry if we got a bit close.
Ran into Chad around 10 am, and as usual, his clients had moved fish.
Didn't see any other Musky hunters on the lake. Two boats were still finding fat crappie. We ended the day by landing a 14" bass whose appitite was bigger than his mouth. He tried to inhale a Rapala sub-walk 14.
Water temps were averaging 48 degrees on the main channel and in the smaller bays.
Good Hunting
