Ok I have made plans with a buddy of mine. We are coming up the week of May 18th for some smallie action. We need a place to stay. There is only going to be two of us with a boat. I am looking for a place to stay for the week. Would like to stay around $600 for the week. It needs to have a dock and electric within 150 feet or so to charge the trolling batteries. Have stayed the last couple years on the north side of the lake. Would like to find a place further to the south maybe around the dam or to the east of that. Need suggestions.

We stay at Cedar Cove http://cedarcovelodging.com/mercer_wisconsin_cabins.shtml the rate is a little north of that, but the A-frames are nice, and there is power near the docks. You might also want to look at Donners, not sure if there are any other resorts/cabins closer to or past the dam.

Excellent resort, Jordan and his wife are some fine people and will take care of you. Better Call early, that is a very popular time of year on the flowage. Great fishing.
