On Mendota this afternoon, calm and very nice! Only other boat seen was the UW Lifesaving boat. Surface temps ranged from 38 to 41°F, about 43 to 44°F in 50 FOW. While it was a little dark I didn't need to use the camera lights in 65 FOW. Lots of particulates in the water though. Couldn't see bottom in 8 FOW in University Bay. Similar conditions from the Bay to Tenney. Not terrible, but not as good as it should be right now. Checked a couple pieces of structure and no fish present. Did see a school of perch in deep water, and of course the carp are cruising around. Didn't have to wear gloves at all today (out about three hours), but definitely felt the cold when I discovered my hip waders leaked! :)
